Fabrizio Cantelli holds a doctorate in political science (Université libre de Bruxelles) and is a lecturer at ULB. He is currently in charge of a unit in the Cabinet of a Belgian Deputy Prime Minister. His publications focus on empowerment and citizen participation, patients' rights and the current reshaping of the State. He has published several works and is currently finalizing the publication of a book on mutations in the power to act, written with Jean-Louis Genard before his death. For nine years, Fabrizio Cantelli has been involved in the community: he has been the voice of patients in healthcare policy, taking on the role of head of a federation of patient and family associations.
